Hey everyone! Just a quick update, I don’t want to tag everyone this time, but I do want to keep you all in the loop.
Nothing crazy, just been swamped with IRL work. I got pulled into a pretty big project, and while I’m trying to pass it off to another architect, I need to lock down the visuals first as the designer. I was hoping to get everything done quietly and keep SC updates rolling without much fuss, but since a lot of time has passed, I figured it’s better to explain.
No worries, I’m not going anywhere. In fact, I’m slowly stepping away from my IRL responsibilities so I can focus more on the games. I can’t quit just yet, but it’ll probably happen in the future.
Now, onto the fun stuff. Even though I’ve been busy, SC development hasn’t stopped. I’ve got around 400 renders ready for Marian’s scenes (plus some backlogged for Lily and the others in 5.0). That includes six full scenes for Marian, as well as in-game animations for Jay that have already been implemented.
The main holdup is writing the dialogue and integrating everything into the game, which is the slowest part for me. Thankfully, I’ve handed that task over to our new hire. We’ll see how he does, but so far, it’s looking good.
stuttering makes it unplayable. i dont know why i dont see any other reports of how stuttery the game is, i am sure it is NOT my hardware considering everythign else runs flawlessly. only difference is this is bakin player game none of my other stuff is bakin. so, is there an actual fix or is this just one of those i should delete and forget about.

I just started the game and I can't meet aunt Jay like I'm supposed to.
