Hi, can anyone could help me there ? I seems to have a little stat bug occuring repetidly, no matter how many times I hit the gym and win the "guess-the-word" games, I have the pop-up message saying that I have gain 1 to 3 strenght points but in fact I don't have win any Strenght point and my stat bar stay at 0.
I join a pick where you can look at my stats points bar. I already must have hit the gym a 12+ times already at this point. If anybody can help I'll be very glad !
Don Taco is actually quite famous around here for starting projects but never finishing them. Everybody mourns this fact because the guy has real talent and a unique style almost everyone loves. As far as I know, according to the rumors in his discord, he ran into all kinds of problems while trying to take on too many projects at once. "The Tacoverse Tales"..... "BigLong Complex"..... "Small Complex"... He also had engine issues. So now, he seems to be concentrating on Small Complex now that he is back after a huge hiatus. And if rumor holds, he will be incorporating all/most of these characters from his games into "Small Complex". He might finish this one next, but with the Taco, there are no guarantees.
well it was good forwhat it was but not enough content. majority is behind work in progress wall. second there is what i can only describe as a bug. when you take the class in the gym it does NOT reward STR, nope. it rewards charisma, so i ended up with 1 str, 13 int, and 13 chr. only "sex" scenes require you to get lucky to pick the lock on lias door in the morning when she is in her room. spoilers 1st is at 0 AP on her stomach come outside, second 125 AP same as before but you now get given a choice of inside or outside.
with that said, to the dev. is it to much to ask you focus and finish 1 of your projects before starting another? you have 3 currently none complete.
i recommend yo stop work on the taco verse all together seeing as it is for those that just want to click quick to get to teh sex scene at teh end.
focus big long complex, graphics are better, feels more gamelike, id prefer you to finish gig long complex before working on small complex again but that is my opinion, i got bored playing small complex after a day whereas i just completed current content for big long complex (3.1b on pc by the way) and got "cockblocked" by lack of content to continue LOL. some other input for dev, the random chat choices need to be a little less random IMHO imagine chatting with a girl for 1 in game week getting nothing but x in your choices, tehn of course there is the state classes, fix str stat in gym ( it gives charisma not str), and give a hint for the word, as of now all you can do is guess the first word and go from there, i actually got LUCKY once in the library and got the word right first time for 3 points but most of the time i end up with 2 points.
as for people looking at this and hopefully read the comments before downloading, i recommend waiting for a substantial content update before downloading. you will just start getting into it only to realise only 1 girl ( lia) has any kind of real progress rest is just tease. working in game is boring, tedious, and repetitious but must be done to take classes and buy hairpins to pick locks but with no real rewards per sey it just gets boring and tedious.
Don Taco was gone for a long long time and is pretty famous among his fans for never really finishing his games. Rumors swirl around why. From severe ADD to dev cohesion issues, to taking on too much at once, to IRL work priorities, to relationship problems, to Game Engine issues.
Point is, who cares why. He is back as of this month! He is currently working on "Small Complex". He may of may not come back to this one, but the rumor I heard was that he might just put all his characters into the big world he is creating in Small Complex. If you want more, check out his new updates on that game. No real timeline, but he says he is working on it.

dontaco has talked to his fans on discord back in December. He's focusing on small complex right now, but has hired an employee to start working on BLC. Then when he has finished small complex, he's going to focus on BLC for a bit

Is the game still being developed or has it been discontinued?
As far as I'm aware, it's being worked on, albeit slowly.
The last updates had many months between public releases, so I'd say a similar time frame is likely.
They do have other games they're working on as well too, so that also plays into it. Small Complex got updated recently, so yeah.
